Songs of the Deliverer

Reimagining the story of Christ in our time

I. Can one man save the world?

A man enters the void of a godless era to bring salvation to the lost and the hopeless. He has no money, owns no possessions, carries no title, and asks for nothing in return for his wondrous deeds. He is the Deliverer.

He vows a singular outcome to those who believe: eternity in Heaven. For that, he is judged by the authorities to be a menace and a fraud. His sentence is persecution. Yet he does not appeal the unjust verdict nor submit to their extortion. Instead he offers his life in ransom to liberate his followers. In the end, his words are sent to die along with him.

Then the man does something that forever changes the world.

The Deliverer comes.

II. They were witnesses to amazing happenings

…Now they’re fighting for their lives. And yours.

A diverse and forsaken flock of people come face to face with redemption. They soon become believers and followers of the one they call, the Christ. When the source of their faith is gone, it’s up to these ordinary people to tell the world of the miracles he did and the promises he made.

“Songs of the Deliverer II – Faith Wins” is the story of the apostles of Christ re-imagined in modern day. All the stories of the New Testament are woven into one compelling novel that tells how Christianity was born.

If not for the acts of the apostles, Christ would be dead to the world. He lives because they overcame torment and oppression to tell the truth of the Son of God. Their witness is our salvation.

III. Can a baby save the world?

...a grieving old man and an orphan girl risk their lives to bring us salvation.

The followers of the one called the Deliverer work against all odds to publish the story of how God sent his son to save the world. As the books start becoming popular, they find a lost journal written decades earlier.

It tells of an old man who becomes the religion teacher to an orphan girl and how those lessons helped him to overcome his grief. As they both learn about God, they discover the 7:14 prophecy from ancient Scripture. Now, through Simeon’s mystical helper and Anna’s visions, they learn the prophecy is about to come true. But first they must prevail over the unbridled madness of a medical researcher and the terrorism of a malevolent Russian Tsar.

A child is to be born to bring glory to the world. But will December 25th bring peace and goodwill or tragedy and devastation? Two unlikely heroes become the last hope for salvation.

Emmanuel is born. God is with us.

IV. A Nation is born

Vanquished by tyranny, their fight for freedom rages. Amidst the struggle, proof of their stolen faith is discovered. And a nation rises.

The “Songs of the Deliverer” tells the story of a man sent to fill the void left by the death of the baby in the manger. Two centuries after the baby Jesus was deprived of his destiny as the fulfillment of the biblical prophecy, Emmanuel comes to bring hope to the hopeless and to reveal the path to new life. He reveals himself to be the Christ, the one sent from above, and religious congregations form to worship him and follow his path. But a ruthless King threatened by the people’s dedication to the new Savior, decrees that the veneration of Emmanuel cease and all relics of him be destroyed. It’s as if Christ never was.

Now, in the fourth and final book in the series, a battle for freedom is waged on the streets of the country. In the midst of this revolution, young grade school students are thrust into the eye of the storm and come face to face with the tyrannical ruler who deprives them of their liberties.  Ensnared in extraordinary circumstances not of their making, these students stake their futures in the revolution sweeping the country. Trapped and on the verge of defeat, an unlikely hero emerges to lead the way out. His trading chip – an item of the forsaken Christ that could change everything. An offer is made to the despot who agrees to a deal: reveal the proof of the vanquished savior or the students will be incarcerated for the rest of their lives. With time running out, the ransom is paid. Will the promise be kept?

Songs of the Deliverer is a beautiful novel. There is no other word to describe the potency and the effortless way it was written.”
